Toward Better Posture: A Wearable Back Posture Alerting Device

Back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, preventing many people from engaging in work or other everyday activities. Good posture entails training your body to develop a habit that exerts least amount pressure on supporting ligaments and muscles; however, not consciously maintained. Instead, muscle groups automatically support enable flexing spine, meaning efforts improve will ultimately fail. Over time, muscles habits can put extra strain back make correcting difficult. The greatest contributor postural problems poor habits, common environment requires long hours sitting standing. Harmful consequences include misalignment pain, sore muscles, improper lung function, blood vessel constrictions, gait, proneness injury. Reversing bad should be tackled as soon problem identified, having an easily accessible monitoring device would useful long-term detrimental effects posture.
